Sofa Pillow Covers

Pillows, pillows, and pillows.  There is no” too many sofa pillows around you” in my dictionary.

Diagonal Striped Pillow Cover

This is an interesting diagonal stripes with short row knitting.

You can use any kind of yarn and needles.

Finishing size for this pillow cover: 16.5 square inches

Suggested insert size: 18 inches

I like to try different stitch combinations.

Yarn: Bernat Super Value yarn, color Dark Heather (440 yds)

Needle: #10

Finished size: 17 square inches.

Suggested insert size: 18 inches

The front side of this pillow cover was knitted with Parquet Cable and Twist Stitches.

Because this pattern is cable knitting, the entire piece will “shrink” after completing the pattern.  So I

needed to cast on more stitches than the back side stitch pattern to make the size I wanted.

The back size of this pillow was knitted with wavy seed stitches.

I am so excited to make this pillow cover.

This pillow cover is based on Ten Stitch designed by Frankie Brown.

Two sides are mirror image designs.

Material:

Yarn: Bernat Super Value yarn, color Forest Green (440 yds) and Dark Heather (440 yds)

Needle: 4mm (#6)

The final size is 16.5 inches square to fit an 18 inches pillow insert.
